SUR’s manager, Peter Madrigal, has always been a part of the Vanderpump Rules universe, but he was not always in such an authoritative role. In 2008, he was just a graduate of University of Southern California with a degree in retail. He then fortunately met the SUR co-owner, Guillermo Zapata, who gave him a job as a busser.
Through years of working, he slowly made his way from busboy to server to manager. He knew hard work and determination was the only way to make his job fresh out of college into an actual career. Of course, everything changed when SUR’s co-owner Lisa Vanderpump joined the roster of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It was then that SUR expanded to create the exclusive and luxurious SUR Lounge, making his job that much more intense, with the premiere of Vanderpump Rules adding to this even more. He told Bravo that his career at SUR made him more responsible and grown up. Though it took him a while to earn the trust of the co-owners, Peter has grown from post-grad busboy to the manager of one of, if not the most talked about spots in all of Hollywood.
